URGENT - Background Processes - How to Disconnect From Entirely

Hi,
Our DBA TEam has recently noticed the following happening after the use of SQL Source Control. Please provide feedback/explanation on the following concerns.
(Background: We've used other tools in the suite (like prompt, search) with no issues for many years. We just recently tried using sql source control for migration to TFS/GIT)
1) The redgate tool sql source control is still executing create statements in sql server profiler even after user has unlinked from databases
2) The process is running in the background in Task Manager
3) Is the connection of SQL Source Control configurable across the license and/or by local user? We'd like a way to change settings that the tool does not run or compare in background and/or at start up.
Thanks,
Dee

2) It will be spawned as a sub-process of SSMS.
3) It is not.
Thanks so much for responding. I've attached pictures of the sql source control tool attempting to connect after databases are unlinked and tool is no longer being used. Let me know if you need anything further?
Thanks,
Delijah
Hi, just following up on this question. Have you been able to review the pictures above?
