Trying to change my source control Work base folder to another path

Followed this document.am saving my target path in this file
RedGate_SQLSourceControl_Engine_EngineOptions.xml 

But when i tried to open SQL Server management studio the path getting cleared from the file.

OR any other way i can create physical folder on local machine when i link SQL Database to Team foundation server using source control through management studio.
