Why are custom alerts not pre-selected when they should?

On the main screen of SQLMonitor, the right-hand side shows the latest alerts aggregated by type. If I click on one such category, e.g. "Job failing", it opens the Alerts page with "Job failing" selected in the list of alert types.
The latest alerts pane uses a single category for an aggregation of all custom alerts (up for debate whether that should be the behaviour but not the topic of this post). When I click that item it also opens the Alerts page ... but in this case no alerts are selected. I have to click Show Advanced Filters, then scroll to the list of custom alerts, and then click all of them to actually see the alerts I need to see.
Please change this behaviour. If I see "Custom alert (2 active alerts)" and I click it, I want to immediately see what those 2 alerts are, wihtout having to go through several extra mouseclicks.
