Unselected columns not saved in project

The instructions for selecting/unselecting columns can be found at https://documentation.red-gate.com/dco4/setting-up-the-comparison/selecting-tables-to-compare#Selectingtablestocompare-Selectingcolumns but they don't match what I'm seeing now in 4.0.10.688. The checkbox is missing and the only way I've found to unselect is to unmap a field.
The problem is that when I unmap a field (I've got a load_date field that will never match) and save the project the unmapped field doesn't remain unmapped the next time I pull up the project to run it. I need to re-unmap the field (in all the tables, separately).
I don't know if this is a bug or if I just don't know how to use the new Select Columns window.

They've found a fix and it should be incorporated in the next release of v.5.

I've the same issue. Any news about this?
There was a fix I was asked to try but it completely broke Data Compare for Oracle for me. I need to uninstall it and reinstall the 4.0.10.688 version.
There's no solution now. It has been escalated to the development team.
When I see something that works, I'll do my best to add to this discussion.
