Red Gate SQL Add-in toolbar empty in SSMS 2008 R2

I've recently ran into some problems with some of the Red Gate SQL tools which had prompted me to uninstall and reinstall them. Since then, the tools do not show up in the Add-in toolbar in SSMS 2008 R2, however the tools work fine in SSMS 2012. Despite the errors I was getting that had me uninstall/reinstall, they worked just fine in 2008 R2 before uninstalling. Any ideas how I can get them to work again? 

So far I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the tools several times, including a repair attempt. I also tried clearing the registry keys and all Red Gate folders I could find (in ProgramData, AppData, etc) in between the uninstall and reinstall. I even went as far as uninstalling and reinstalling SSMS 2008 R2, deleting all traces of SQL in between. No luck.
