SQLPrompt causing Visual Studio 2017 to crash

I've updated most of my stack in the past few days. Everything works, except SQLPrompt. When I disable SQLPrompt, everything else works. 

Failure detail: 
When I open a Sql database project, and click on any .sql file - VS hangs completely, then crashes and reopens.

I'm having the same exact issue after the 9.1.14.5213 update (within SQL Server Management Studio v17.7).  SQL Prompt appears to crash SSMS upon performing a coding suggestion

Just to let you know that a new version of SQL Prompt was released just yesterday and I've placed the direct download link below for you.

My extensions are up to date and I still have the problem. Has persisted for several releases. Sql Prompt Core extension version 9.2.8.6358
