Add SQL Source control to newly SSMS version

I've just installed SSMS 17.5. Previously was using an earlier version with Prompt, Test, Source Control etc installed. I reran the developer bundle installer, which added most of the tools to the new SSMS, but it said source control was already up to date, so wouldn't offer to install it. How do I go about adding tools when this happens? Think I got away with the others only because there was a pending update

    Hi @kev1609

No problem and thanks for your reply.

In this case you should uninstall and reinstall the bundle in order to get it on to SSMS 17.5

Do let me know if you're having an issues with this.

    Hi @kev1609

    Thanks for your post.

The installer for your bundle at the bottom of your organisation's invoice will always install the latest version of each of the tools. Is this the one you were using?

I look forward to your reply.

Hi Richard, thanks for coming back to me. Yes, I am using that installer (SQLDeveloperBundle.exe). Running it did upgrade a number of my tools that hadn't been manually updated yet. However, because I already had the most up to date version of SQL Source control installed under the earlier version of SSMS, it didn't allow me to select it for installation. So now I still have it in the old SSMS, but don't have it in SSMS 17.5. How can I get the installer to add it to SMSS 17.5, when it's already installed and fully up to date in the earlier version of SSMS?

Thanks Richard, that was my fall back plan but I was hoping there was a simpler solution

    Sorry @kev1609

At the moment this is the best way to get it over there.

    Kind regards
