RG_RECOVERY TABLES getting created and causing lot of issue with respect to deployment of changes

I understand that RG_RECOVERY tables will get created when there is an anticipation of data getting affected. In my project i have changed the existing data type of two columns in one table and it triggered around 20 tables falling under RG_RECOVERY and taking hell lot of time. How to handle this scenario
