A duplicate definition was found for the extended property

I have seen this issue multiple times in this forum. When I try to commit changes to TFS for one of my databases, I get an error (A duplicate definition was found for the extended property 'dbo). From the research I have done, the "solution" is to look through the properties of all objects to try to find the duplicate. The database I am working on predates me by several years, and I have been with the company for 11. I understand the only way may be looking at each object, but is there not an easier way? There is logic in the software to determine there are duplicates, so why can this information not be displayed to the user so they can look at maybe two objects instead of several hundred. Any help in tracking this down would be greatly appreciated.
