Job to validate backups

Our company receives regular .SQB incremental backups via SFTP from a cloud provider we use. We then have a job that restores each of these incremental backups to our local SQL Server. This provides us a local copy of our cloud data.

Is it possible to schedule a job to run hourly to validate each .SQB file to ensure that its SFTP transmission was successful?

You can use RESTORE VERIFYONLY to test the backup. That's how I'd do it. Documentation is available here.
