7.1.15.10321 - Job Failing NOT TRIGGERED for a DBCC Fail

Kind of an important one to NOT be alerted to by ANY means - Alert or email...
The SQL Agent Job Failing alert is configured to raise as RED and email the DBATeam@ address.
SQM fell SILENT.
SQM did not lose connectivity with the server as there is no Alert to that effect, AND there is a Disk Space Alert, at LOW priority showing 443.75 GB (19.85%) free, about 20 minutes before DBCC popped its clogs.
Please advise how I can assist in detecting what went wrong with SQM.
