I have a licence for SSMS 2016, does that works for SSMS 2017

Hi,
I have SQL Prompt licence for SSMS 2016. My machine with SSMS 2016 is dead. Now I cannot find anywhere to download SSMS 2016. I can only download SSMS 2017, my question is if I install SSMS 2017, does my licence works?

    Hi @hxy0135 thank you for your question!

    Redgate compatibility with SSMS depends on the state of the license key, and not on the version of SSMS it was originally installed on. If you have a valid support and upgrades contract and you download the most recent version of SQL Prompt (version 9) then this should be absolutely fine working in SSMS 2017.
