SQL Search 3

in SQL Search
Just installed SQL Server 2016 and SSMS17 in my home lab.
Downloaded and installed SQL Search 3.0 - a free add-in (note, I do not have SQL Toolbelt).
However, the SQL Search toolbar icon is failing to appear in Management Studio.
In the troubleshooting documentation, it says to 'Repair' SSMS Integration Pack Framework 1 (i.e. see https://documentation.red-gate.com/ss3/troubleshooting/using-sql-search-in-a-new-version-of-sql-server-management-studio) but I cannot find that in any programs installed on my PC.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled SQL Search 3 without any success.
Any ideas as to what I might do to get this to work.
Note, the 'Redgate' option is checked in the context menu of the toolbar.
Thanks in Advance for your Help,
DTML

Thanks for your post.
Can you make sure that you're on the latest version and let us know if you're still having problems?
It is available for direct download below and was released 8 days ago.

I hope this helps.
Kind regards

I reverted to version SQL Serach 2 yesterday because version 3 is obviously not fit for purpose.
Come in this morning and SQL Search has been updated to version 3 again and there is no way to turn it off because somebody in their wisdom decided that SQL Search should be an auto-update product with no control to turn it off!
So now I'm stuck with version 3 which is indexing all the time which is painful when your databases are thousands of miles away.
Classic case of if it ain't broken then just leave it alone.
Thanks for your post.
Are you on the latest version and also meeting the system requirements for SQL Search?

Thanks for your reply.
If you have a Toolbelt under a support contract then could you please send us a ticket with screenshots so that an engineer can check this out for you? Please also let them know which version of SSMS you are running.
Kind regards
Richard.
