Unable to uninstall Prompt 7

Hi,
I'm trying to update Prompt 7 to 9 but when Prompt 7 is trying to uninstall I get an error.


Please, help me with this.

Can you please try to put this attached file (SQL Prompt_7.2.4.291_x86_r5ea6923d3494b529230c58033e9983abd4d7c740) in the folder and try again?

Sorry to hear that you are having troubles when trying to uninstall Prompt 7.

Yes, I've already tried this, but the result is the same error message.

After that, I looked at that path in the error message but the folder is empty. I think that this is the problem.
But I don't know what I can do with this.

Hi @Mir,

Have you tried to install Prompt 9 without uninstalling Prompt 7 ? That should work.

If it doesn't, please send me the full Prompt 7 version, so I can send you a link to download that exe version, extract the msi from it and then do msiexec /x filename.msi /q to try to uninstall it.

Prompt 9 installer automatically tries to uninstall the previous version. I cannot disable this.
