unable to downgrade to previous version of SQl Compare

Getting this error -"A valid SQL Compare install cannot be located. Please use the buttons below to download a copy", when I tried to downgrade to the previous version SQL Compare v11.6 from V13.1

Just to clarify, is this error coming from the SSMS integration?

Thanks for confirming that!

Can you kindly try repairing the "SSMS Integration Pack 1" from your Programs and Features? That program is responsible for the SSMS integration so repairing should hopefully get it to recognize the downgrade.
