I'm getting the following error when comparing a database to our source control version of the same database.
"Invalid numeric precision/scale" appears when I use the GUI or command line version of the SQL Data Compare.
What could cause this and how do I get around it?

This might be a problem with the SQL Source Control cache, can you please try the following steps:
1 - Unlink the DB from Source Control
2 - Delete the contents of all subfolders inside %localappdata%\Red Gate\SQL Source Control 5\Caches
(Please note that %localappdata% is a Windows Environment variable that usually corresponds to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local )
3 - Relink DB
4 - Try comparing it again
