in SQL Prompt
Hi there,
I've installed Redgate SQL Prompt 8 (newest build) and SQL Search on a new computer. It wouldn't install at first as it needed Visual Studio 2010. Since that download is unavailable at the Microsoft download site, I've installed Visual Studio 2017 Community. SQL Prompt was succesfully installed after this. But the problem is that in the SQL Management client (version 2008 R2) the SQL Search button shows, but there's no button of menu for SQL Prompt.
Repairing or reinstalling the product didn't help, the button remains invisible. Login in as antoher user didn't work either. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Mark van Bommel

Unfortunately as of SQL Prompt 8 we have dropped support for SSMS 2008R2 and lower. I would recommend updating the version of SSMS you use here .
If there's anything else I can do to help, let me know.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
