Redgate forum ranks

We recently enabled user ranks on the Redgate forums based on a user's point score. They are designed as a fun way to show how active an individual is and have no affect on the functionality of the forums or the importance of a user's posts.
All new members start with this rank
As a community member's points go up so will their rank
(these are just some of the ranks available)
You can get points for lots of different activities on the forums; posting new content, asking and answering questions and gaining badges. We may also choose to add special ranks and badges at a later date.
So there we have it! Who will get to the top rank first? If you can't see your rank just log out and back into the forums.

All user comments are contained in Topics (for example we posting in the Redgate forum ranks topic now). When a user posts a new topic they can choose to post as a question using the drop down box
Any comments posted to a Question topic will be highlighted as an answer. The original poster can then select helpful answers which in turn marks that answer as an accepted answer.
To summarise, an answer is a type of comment, posted in a Topic marked as a question.
I hope that helps?
Makes sense now. Thanks
