Error - Tried to set a permission of type 'None'

Since the last update I have been having this error on several databases. Some on this server work others do not.

Anyone else having this issue?

We are storing in TFS 2012 with update 1 (11.0.51106.1 )
SQL source control is 5.7.6.6321
SQL 2016 (SP1-CU3) (13.0.4435.0) ( running as the primary in a Always-on cluster, Manual fail over so I know it is the same box as always. )

I am also seeing this problem using SQL Compare 12. Haven't been able to work out what is causing it. Same version of SQL Server.
  • Hi Claire,

This issue was resolved for jeffveg in the August release of SQL Source Control, can you confirm the full version of SQL Compare you are using please?

I know this thread is close to 2.5 years old but I am running into the same error on SQL Compare Version 12.3.3.4490 and it is preventing me from comparing databases at all.  Additionally I cannot perform a manual update of SQL Compare 12.  I am not sure if the two issues are related.
