Disk sizes reported incorrectly

On one of our servers SQL Monitor is reporting every disk (both local and SAN) as having a total size of 3495.6 GB, which is not even the size of all the drives combined. The amounts of free space per drive is shown correctly, but as a result of the incorrect total size, the free percentage calculations are way out, resulting in false alerts.

In some instances the sizes reported by databases can be off. You can try DBCC UPDATEUSAGE to clear that up. More here.
