Ignore whitespace not working in 5.7.6.6321 and later

I have just updated to 5.7.6.6321 from the previous frequent release and am now getting 18 differences showing where the only change is whitespace. Some are blank lines being removed. Another is CREATE vs create on a stored procedure. A couple show no differences whatsoever.

Update: Upgraded to version 5.8.3.6733 but still seeing the issue.
I haven't been able to reproduce this with a simple test, unfortunately.
@caliq Can I just check if this is still occurring for you as well in the latest frequent release, v5.8.3.6733?
@Don_W And just to clarify if this is the same issue with white space and casing-- do the db_datareader, db_owner and db_securityadmin objects have actual white space and casing differences (that SQL Source Control should be ignoring but isn't) or are they completely identical (yet SQL Source Control says they are different)?
Do the problems go away if you reinstall version 5.7.4.6241?

I couldn't find any differences in whitespace or casing. Checksums were identical. Reinstalled with the version you recommended but no luck.
Finally tried undoing changes which seemed to resolve the issue.
I'm glad to hear you've found a workaround but that is a really odd issue you were seeing. If this comes up again, can you please let us know? It may be helpful to get a copy of your working and transient folders as well as a snapshot of the database.

Hi Richard,
I have now logged a bug report for this issue (ref n. SC-9595).
I will keep this on hold and will update when there are meaningful updates or this is fixed.
Thank you,
Sergio
From taking a look at that ticket, it looks like the bug that is causing issues with "Ignore whitespace" is also causing some identical objects to show up as different, so @Don_W appears to be running into SC-9595 as well.
We'll let you both know once we have an update on this!
