Search and SSMS version

in SQL Search
Hi,
I've been using SQL Search with SSMS 2014 for a long time, I recently installed SSMS v17 and re-installed SQL Search, v17 search works fine but 2014 search has disappeared, will it only work on one instance of SSMS?
