0 differences in comparison report when run through command line but not GUI

This is only the case for certain databases, that when the same project is executed using command line, the report shows 0 differences whereas through GUI it was showing many.

  • This could be caused by a number of issues. If the behaviour persists on the latest version of Compare, could you contact support@red-gate.com with some more information? Ideally, it would be really good to have a project file and the differing SQL of an object as it appears in the UI.

I am having this same issue and will email the address you suggest with details.
Interesting the command line app is exiting with code 61 - differences found, but the report has no differences.
