Upgraded to SQL Prompt 8 and now SQL Search 2.4 is missing

I have SQL Developer Bundle. I already had SSMS 2008 R2 and 2014, but recently installed SSMS 2016. SQL Prompt wouldn't show up in 2016, so I had to uninstall SQL Prompt 8 and install again. The install media on my company network is SQL Toolbelt downloaded in late April, so I installed SQL Prompt 7.x and then checked for updates to get back to SQL Prompt 8. In the process, SQL Search 2.4 disappeared from SSMS 2008 R2 and 2014. It shows up in the Redgate Toolbar on SSMS 2016 but does not appear to actually work. Suggestions?

    Hi Alex,

Sorry to hear you're running into issues!

Just to confirm, the problems remain after a reinstall of SQL Search? If so, can you please close SSMS and then try repairing "SSMS Integration Pack Framework 1" from your installed programs and features? (This is the program that SQL Prompt and SQL Search use to integrate to SSMS 2008r2 and 2014.)

Should the problems persist though, can you please check your log files %localappdata%\Red Gate\Logs\SQLSearch 2 for any errors and let us know what you find (if any)?
