VS2017 hangs when trying to add ReadyRoll project

I am trying to create a new project/solution with the built-in ReadyRoll template. However, it makes VS2017 Enterprise hang every time and then I have to kill the process and repeat. This is my first time trying to use the ReadyRoll tools. VS was up to date, but it looks like a new VS update came out today so I am updating to that now.

VS updated. ReadyRoll plugin is fully updated. Still hanging.

Thanks for getting in touch and I'm very sorry that ReadyRoll is causing the IDE to hang. We have had reports of this occurring for some users and are now investigating possible fixes.

May I ask are you using VS2017 on a VM or just your PC? Would you mind if we sent you a preview build to try when the time comes?

The hotfix fixed the hanging issue.
