Issues Installing the Plugin Manager

Hi there,

I've been working on creating an automated install, and I come across an issue install the plugin manager. After the uninstallation of RedGate products, and attempting to reinstall the .NET bundle, the I receive the following error message:
"There is a problem with the Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected...."

Has anyone encountered this issue? Any recommendations?

I've attempted cleaning the registry, cleaning out the RedGate Shared Client components, as well as repairing the versions of Visual Studio currently installed on the system.

Thanks!
Justin

    Thanks for your post!

Hm, this is an odd issue, I'm not sure what could cause the error to only happen upon reinstalling and not during the original install.

Just to confirm, the error comes up as it is trying to install the .NET Reflector Visual Studio extension?

Can you please post the content in your log file after this happens? You should be able to get the log file by right-clicking on the installer window's title bar and choosing "Log file...".

    Thank you!
