DTS Compare - limit package comparison?

When I use DTS compare and desire to compare one or more DTS packages between two servers, it loads all DTS packages and takes forever to register and compare servers. Sometimes, it runs out of memory or I have to wait a long time for a response. Is there a way of limiting or identifying specific DTS packages to just compare the ones that I'm interested in?

Apologies is this is a redundent posting, I'm new to this board.

    Hi Bern,

    Unfortunately you cannot limit the number of DTS packages that are going to be compared. The only choice that you have is to only compare servers or only compare DTS Packages without comparing the server.

    Brian, I would like to see this feature added in the next version of DTS Compare. In the interim, how are other folks dealing with this issue? Any workarounds that will limit the amount of time required, or resources used, when comparing DTS packages?
