Hello

I would like to know if somebody managed to monitor cluster shared volumes with sql cluster 2014.
I would like to have alerts like on regular disk when disk space is running low and be able to monitor I/O performance.

  • Hi Michal_14,

Thanks for posting on the Redgate forums.

Unfortunately, monitoring cluster shared volumes isn't supported by SQL Monitor at this time. Currently, this isn't planned in SQL monitor. If you would like to add a feature request for this you can do so here https://sqlmonitor.uservoice.com/forums ... uggestions.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
    Kind regards,

Hi Dan,  your response is now nearly 2 years old.  We also used Cluster Shared Volumes with SQL 2014 and 2016 and would ideally have SQL Monitor check space on them too.  It this feature any closer to being implemented?  Thanks, Rob.

We're going to look into the feasibility of this. Absolutely no promises at this time, but we're going to investigate how much work this would require.
