Hi all,
I'm trying to install SQL Search into SSMS, but our corp AV incessantly quarantines the installation file (SQL_Search.exe).
Symantec's assessment:
Category: Malware
Reputation: There is strong evidence that this file is untrustworthy.
Prevalence: This file has been seen by hundreds of Symantec users.
First Seen: Symantec has known about this file approximately 2 weeks.[/list]
Anyone else having similar issues?

Hm, from running the installer by virustotal.com, it looks like the current signature database for Symantec shouldn't be finding any issues with the file. Can you kindly double check that your Symantec database is updated to the latest?
If it already is on the latest though, please let me know and we can get in touch with Symantec about getting this whitelisted.
Thank you!

I just checked again today, and the file is still being quarantined by Symantec.
My Virus and Spyware definitions are as recent as today (Tuesday, January 24, 2017 r8).
