New install doesn't show green icons for existing SVN links

I recently formatted my laptop and installed Windows 10, with SQL Server Management Studio 2016 and SQL Source Control 5.3.0.3278 and I had thought it might recognise which databases were linked to SVN already. Is this normal behaviour? Doesn't it store extended properties in the database so that these links are remembered, or is it normal for us to re-link our databases to SVN on a fresh install of the software?

Thanks.
I don't always test my code, but when I do, I do it in production :-p
