Bug: SQL Tests holds database connections open
Hi there,
SQL Test appears to have a bug in that it holds database connections open even after it's been closed. This only happens if you've opened the SQL Test window in SSMS, have at least one database added, and then close the window again.
At this point if, for example, you want to recreate the database, this will fail at the DROP DATABASE stage. As I say, this only happens if SQL Test has been opened, suggesting that it holds a connection open.
Thanks,

From the simple test I performed, I believe I have reproduced the symptoms you reported. Therefore I have submitted a new bug report whose reference is SQT-496. Sadly I have no further information as to when a possible bug fix will become available. I will update this post when I have further information.
Many Thanks
