Use of Temporary Database

I noticed that the command line documentation for SQL Compare 12 no longer contains the -TempInstance switch. Does this mean that SQL Compare 12 no longer uses a temporary database (LocalDB or Full SQL Server) to deploy migrations? Is this true for SQL Source Control 5 also?

The -TempInstance switch no longer exists as the migrations functionality no longer requires the use of a temporary database.
