Managed Service Accounts as server credential?

Until now, I only used domain accounts as credentials for monitoring servers.
But in the near future, our infrastructure team will introduce managed service accounts.
I searched through the SQL monitor documentation, but I can not find anything about using a MSA as credential for monitoring a server.
When I see the gui for entering credentials, you need to enter a password when you Specify a Windows Account.
For a MSA You do not have the password. So my question is: Is it possible to use a MSA as a credential for monitoring a SQL server? (And from Win 2012 group managed service accounts)
Kind Regards!

Unfortunately, at this stage, MSA are not supported within SQL Monitor. There is an internal ticket open with our development team SRP-10718 but I can't give any timescales on when this will be implemented.
Apologies for any inconvenience this causes. I will update this thread when I receive some further information.

I'd recommend that you head over to the Uservoice and comment on the thread there: https://sqlmonitor.uservoice.com/forums/91743-suggestions/suggestions/19138936-use-group-managed-service-account-credentials-fo, as we use this for prioritising future work.
Suggests that it should be possible now or do I misunderstand it?
tried to use a gmsa as server credential, but I am obligated to enter a password
