Dependencies seem kind of bugged

It now lists basically everything that references a table in any way as a potential dependency to deploy, even if all you were doing was adding an index to the table, and even if the "dependent" objects are themselves identical. This is dramatically different from the behavior in v11 which seemed to be far more helpful.

That does look a little strange, I've managed to reproduce the issue locally and logged in with bug reference SC-8993. I'll keep you updated as to when we have a fix available.

We've just released 12.0.29.3182 to Frequent Updates. This build should add a bit more filtering on the dependencies that are shown, to be more in line with v11
