SQL SC disabled within SSMS

Jeff ClarkJeff Clark Posts: 14
I have been using SQL SC 4 within SSMS for SQL Server 2014 v. 12.0.4459.0 for some time now.
When I went to use it today, SQL Source Control was missing and none of the linked databases showed as linked.
I tried restarting my machine and uninstalling and reinstalling SQL SC. Still don't see the tab. All items on the SQL SC toolbar are disabled.
I am linking to Git working folders.
It seems like my configurations have been corrupted or something.

Can you help me to get SQL SC working again? Thanks in advance for your help.

  • HI Jeff,

I am sorry that you are having issues with SQL Source Control.

Please try the following uninstalling SQL Source Control again, but this time also uninstall the SSMS Integration Pack Framework:

1 - Uninstall SQL Source Control and SSMS Integration Pack Framework 1
2 - Restart the operating system
3 - Reinstall SQL Source Control
    4 - Test again

    Thank you,
