In the above announcement, it states

Please do not claim this, as it is not true.
You still lack support for Change Tracking - one of the main new features in SQL 2008.

I suspect that the "support of SQL Server 2008" statement in the annoucement refers primarily to the new object types, but of course we will consider all requests to improve the product further. Change tracking is currently logged under the ID SC-3867 (we will notify if and when this is implemented). In the meantime the only workaround is to edit the script and manually disable change tracking and re-enable it at the end.
