cannot commit dropped objects

enotheisenenotheisen Posts: 4
I created a stored procedure and committed it in source control with no problems. Two weeks later I successfully dropped the procedure and attempted to commit the changes but I get this error:
PendDelete returned an unexpected number of files.

Expected 1 actual 0

How do I commit this change?

  • Hey Eric,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry you are having this issue!

This is just a copy of what I sent via email-
Would you mind updating to the latest version of Source Control? (Help -> Check for Updates, see attached)

If that does not work could you close SSMS then go to C:Users%UserName%AppDataLocalRed GateSQL Source Control 5Caches and delete the contents?

Let me know if you continue to get any errors after that!
