SQL monitor database and Table compression

How well does SQL monitor react to having the underlying database use table compression by Page?
The compression estimates show about 56% size reduction for the top 20 tables by size.
However, it would be nice to know from the horse's mouth if this is viable going forward.
FYI We monitor some 25 busy production servers that with default purge settings of 3 months have some 500GB of database.
So table compression giving a 56% reduction would be great, if it doesn't all stop working!

    Hi Charles,

I've spoken to one of the developers and he indicated doing this should be fine from the point of view of it still working, but there is an overhead added on so performance could be affected. If you do try this out please let us know how it goes for you!

    Kind regards,
