Hi,
on Sql Server 2014 SP1 CU4 enterprise edition. when a db goes into recovery, I got an aleart as
Recovery of DB testdb is 5% complete(around 5000 seconds remaining). In our situation, the DB is 5TB and the recovery time is huge.
The question
This retrieval looks to take time. any way to destroy it?
we never worry about this recovering db as we can restore from our backups.

What to do?

    Hi

You have posted into the Redgate SQL Test forum. This forum is for users of a product called SQL Test which creates unit tests for SQL Server databases.

Did you post this comment into the correct forum?

If you are experiencing this problem using another Redgate product, called SQL Monitor, I recommend that you repost this message into the SQL Monitor Forum.

If your enquiry is a general SQL Server usage question, I recommend that you post in the SQL Server Central forum available HERE.

    Many Thanks
