I am using SQL Prompt 5.3.8.2 with SQL Server Management Studio 2012.

Occasionally I connect to SQL Server versions 2014 and 2016. I am greeted with this error

Is there a way to disable to SQL Prompt for unsupported versions of SQL Server or at least instruct it to not pop up this message box?

    Hi rgelb,

Unfortunately I'm not aware of any way to disable that error in SQL Prompt 5.3.8.2 when connecting to an unsupported server.

The error itself has been removed in newer versions of SQL Prompt (and if it's an unknown server version then SQL Prompt will attempt to connect anyway), there's also been functionality added to filter out servers/databases if they are causing problems.

    Thanks,
    Aaron.
