Thanks for writing. This has been a long-standing issue and in the case of Profiler version 2.0, we’ve added a few more friendly messages to help identify the problem. For instance, if no data is sent to the report at the end of a profiling session, you should see a popup saying that the application had not loaded the .net Framework. Otherwise you should get an error message.
Can you please let me know if you get any kind of error message, any application events in the event log, or the framework not loaded error message? This will give a better indication as to what the problem is.
