data purge setting

is there anyway to see breakdown of what data is stored? Also is there anyway to see when the purge would occur?
basically it would be helpful to know when the data purge would happen and to be able to control what to be purged through the UI.
currently using SQL Monitor 4.2.0 due to seeing how v5 was initially having upgrade issue, etcetc but I assume the purge portion is still the same.

Thanks for contacting Redgate forums.
If you select the configuration tab and then data purging, you can see all the options to tweak the purge settings of SQL Monitor. The purge tries to run every hour, certain things can stop this process occurring and any data that would have been deleted will then be deleted the next hour.
You can read more on the purge settings here

The purge portion of V5 is the same as V4. Please let me know if you need any further information.

What is the best method for posting a feature request?
Set either a customer/user defined field for purging datatypes (Machine/SQL/Alerts), or increase options in the 1-3 month range, for example 6 weeks, 10weeks, 14 weeks. Each site will have different drivers that affect how long their reasonable data retention should be, as well as storage cost considerations.
Apologies for not coming back to you sooner on this.
