Ctrl+Tab issue

Hi

A strange issue happens when you switch tabs using Ctrl+Tab. Sometimes instead of going to the other tab the old tab contents remains on screen but the focus is on the new tab, so if you start typing you see the contents of the new tab. I don't know how to explain it better.
A workaround is to use mouse click to switch tabs, but Ctrl+Tab is faster.
This is not a new issue. It is happening for a long time.

Hi,

I think we've encountered this before on certain machines, but it seems to happen even without Prompt installed so we assumed it was a bug with SSMS or the graphics card drivers.

How reliably are you able to reproduce these visual glitches? Is it every time you use ctrl+tab or is it only occasionally?

Hi

You are right, the visual glitches happens even without SQL Prompt installed (SQL Prompt is the first thing I install after SQL install, so I didn't notice what happens without it).
Unfortunally it happens everytime I use ctrl+tab.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad it wasn't Prompt causing it, but unfortunately that means there's not much we can do to fix it for you
