create new metric

Is that possible to create a new metric?
What I need is "index searches/sec"
Can I create it myself?

Here is the documentation on creating custom metrics. You can also search http://sqlmonitormetrics.red-gate.com/ to see if there is already an existing metric that fits your needs.
