updating passwords

hey,
So we've started using multiscript in our environment to do complex deployments to all our production servers around the world. About 60 or so in my department and 250 in total.
This works well with the distribution lists, however due to security reasons, the servers are going to start having their database passwords changed on a regular basis (automated process) so this is going to mean we have to update passwords each time we use multiscript.
We have our passwords published on an intranet webpage.
Is there a way to have the published passwords automatically inserted into the application.dat file in the correct encrypted form when the passwords are changed? and for all users that have the file in their use rprofile?
Perhaps an automated job we can set up somehow to retrieve the passwords and then insert into multiscript?
I know passwords and encryption are a sensitive issue and for this reason we have strict policies regarding passwords, but we also need to be able to use the tool without the delay and changing that many passwords several times a month (will be approximately once a week we will need to update this) is a bit of an overhead on our already strained resources.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Jason
