Hi
I was wondering if it is possible to restore encrypted compressed backups created by SQLBackup professional ed on a server running SQLBackup lite edition.
Here is my scenario. I have two production servers and a test server running SQLBackup 5.2 professional. Backups from production servers are compressed and encrypted and every night restored on the development server. I need to add one more development server and was trying to figure out if I need to have professional edition to restore back the encrypted backup or if I can use only the lite edition.
I tried to search the forum and the website but didn't find anything - most probably I was not looking correctly. If someone can point me to the right direction - it'd be much appreciated.

The Lite Edition of SQL Backup is capable of restoring any encrypted backup for compatibility reasons. The limitation is that it cannot create encrypted backups.
