Specified cast is not valid

Hi I am comparing two databases with the same structure; one in System test environment and one in the UAT environment. I am getting the above error message but have not had this error message before. No one on my team has seen this before either. Other people with SQL compare do not get this message when running the same compare. Please can you help? I have recently installed SQL on a new computer and it is currently running trial licence whilst I am waiting for the licences to be found.

Sounds like a permissions problem to me. Check that you've got the right permissions on the databases you're trying to compare - http://www.red-gate.com/supportcenter/C ... 000072.htm should tell you what you need to know about permissions.
