SQL Compare and .sqlsuo files in source-controlled projects

Hi,
We recently purchased SQL Compare 6 (haven't yet upgraded to SQL Compare 7, so I guess there's a chance I'm wasting everyone's time by asking this question!) and have successfully been using it to deploy SQL Server Management Studio projects to various servers (e.g. dev, demo, live).
The one issue we keep encountering is that SQL Compare seems to want to parse the .sqlsuo (solution user options) file that is automatically generated in the scripts folder unless we create a separate solution folder, which we don't always remember or want to do. We can workaround this by simply renaming it before running the compare, but it is a bit of a pain.
I'm guessing SQL Compare either doesn't know about this type of file to ignore it, or is simply looking for files with extension .sql*? Is there any way we can force SQL Compare to ignore it?
