My trial ended 4 days early - what gives?

I have been very pleased with the results of my testing with SQL Compare, SQL Data Compare, and SQL Packager so far. However, I was disappointed to find out today when trying to open the software it said my trial had expired.

Just yesterday, it said I had 4 days left of my trial. I would still like to test a few things before I am ready to purchase. How can I reactivate my trial for the remaining 4 days?

If you contact sales@red-gate.com they should be able to sort you out with a trial extension.

I suspect the problem is likely to be some kind of timing glitch on your computer which caused the trial to believe that the clock had been changed - did you notice anything like that occurring? (Basically it sounds like the tamper-proofing on the licensing got a bit over-enthusiastic and decided to end the trial - there are a range of things that can trigger it, but the clock changing is the most common one.)
