SQL Data Compare 6.1.1

This is a minor update to 6.1.0 and fixes issues with the commandline and backup before synch.

It is advised to un-install version 6.1.0 before installing 6.1.1.

Users upgrading from version 6.0.0 to 6.1.1 need not un-install.

What’s new in 6.0

• Compare to backup (SQL Backup 3,4 or 5 or SQL Server Native) – this is a ‘Pro’ feature
• Pivot view – alternative table differences visualization
• Backup before synch (SQL Backup 4 or 5 or SQL Server Native)

• Project settings are not lost when schema is changed

SQL Data Compare 6.0 will work alongside previous versions without problems. You will also get a new 14 day trial period to try it out.

We have stopped supporting SQL Server 7 for this version. You will need to have .NET 2.0 installed for this version to work.
