SQL Data Compare 6.1.1
This is a minor update to 6.1.0 and fixes issues with the commandline and backup before synch.
It is advised to un-install version 6.1.0 before installing 6.1.1.
Users upgrading from version 6.0.0 to 6.1.1 need not un-install.

• Compare to backup (SQL Backup 3,4 or 5 or SQL Server Native) – this is a ‘Pro’ feature
• Pivot view – alternative table differences visualization
• Backup before synch (SQL Backup 4 or 5 or SQL Server Native)
• Improved differences navigation
• Per-table synchronization SQL
• Project settings are not lost when schema is changed
• Projects are not saved automatically
• Reseed identity column
• Use ‘force binary collation’ for case sensitive comparisons
• Filter tables in comparison results
• Set WHERE clauses on multiple tables at once
SQL Data Compare 6.0 will work alongside previous versions without problems. You will also get a new 14 day trial period to try it out.
We have stopped supporting SQL Server 7 for this version. You will need to have .NET 2.0 installed for this version to work.

Fixed problem when reading case-sensitive computed columns
Fixed scripting issue when attempting to revoke permissions on newly built function
Fixed "Specified Cast is not valid" exception when users do not have full permissions
Fixed problem where occasionally an "index outside the bounds of the array" exception was thrown when reading CLR objects
Fixed problem where if the “ignore constraint and index names†option was enabled objects could be missing from the synchronisation
Fixed problem where if a constraint’s object text was greater than 4000 characters a duplicate object would be detected.
TYPE COLUMN options now work correctly with varbinary(max)
